Atelier Oï
Swiss multidisciplinary studio founded in 1991, known for material manipulation and handcrafted approach to design.
Founded in 1991 in La Neuveville, Switzerland, Atelier Oï is a multidisciplinary creative studio led by three founders: Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis, and Patrick Reymond. The name 'oï' derives from the Russian word meaning 'family,' reflecting the collaborative spirit at the heart of their practice.
The studio's work spans architecture, product design, and scenography, united by a distinctive approach to material manipulation and a commitment to handcrafted quality. Their designs reveal an intimate understanding of how materials behave — bending, folding, and transforming under the guidance of skilled hands.
Atelier Oï's collaboration with IBTW brings Swiss precision and material innovation to the world of premium outdoor furniture. Their geometric, flexible designs — presented at Milan Design Week — represent a new chapter in outdoor living, where engineering and artistry converge.
